BROOK BARZYK
Pilot/Certified Flight Instructor
Brook was born in Wisconsin but moved to Nashville, Tennessee at a young age. He attended Lipscomb University where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Psychology in 1998. From 1998 to 2003, Brook worked in several private physician offices, urgent care clinics and endoscopy centers in directorship roles until purchasing a startup manufacturing company, Chateau Industries, in 2004 where he has served as CEO since. He has concurrently been actively engaged as a consultant in the merger and acquisition of several companies and venture capital investments throughout Tennessee, Georgia and Florida. His love of aviation began at a young age building “anything that would fly” with his father but marriage and his career occupied most if his time. Brook took his first introductory flight in 2017 and rekindled that passion for aviation he had as a child. He has since obtained his CFII certification and enjoys regularly teaching aspiring pilots.

I am content teaching and take great pride in seeing someone who has never seen the inside of a cockpit gain confidence and become a safe, successful pilot.”

I took my first flight in a helicopter at an airshow when I was 9 years old. The second we lifted off, I knew being a pilot was exactly what I wanted to be when I grew up. I spent the next 7 years dreaming what it would feel like to fly one myself. On my 16th birthday, I finally got the opportunity to take a discovery flight with my hands on the controls for the very first time and was completely hooked. I went on to obtain my commercial helicopter rating and now wake up every single day excited to go to “work”. Being a helicopter pilot challenges me every day in ways I didn’t know were possible and pushes me to become the best version of myself.

Welcome to Aeroluxe Aviation. We are proud to be part of your aviation experience. I’ve been flying for over 50 years and it seems like I started yesterday. I have over 33,000 hours in airplanes and helicopters. I’m a Designated Pilot Examiner for the Federal Aviation Administration. I have been administering flight exams for fixed wing and helicopters since 2008. I hold all instructor ratings for helicopters and airplanes. It was my privilege to fly for Southwest Airline for over 30 years. After retiring from Southwest I help establish the aviation unit for Williamson County Sheriff’s Office where we operate two OH-58’s and a Huey helicopter. And now I’m excited to be part of the team here at Aeroluxe Aviation.
